Xavier and Leena - Almost Home

For those who have been watching my DA site, you may know that one of the stories I've been working on is called The Dark World Epic. Some of you may have also notice the last bit of DWE art I posted was back in 2006. But that doesn't mean that I've given up on it. It's just on the backburner (with Esoteric Guardian Angel and Fantastibad on the front).


This is a picture of the main character, Xavier, walking home with his daughter, Leena.

Art wise, I tried to do a few new things. First of all, minimalist shading (except for skin and hair). Second, instead of inking this drawing by hand, I decided to use my tablet and ink it using Flash. Third, I tried to draw them from a different angel than normal; the back.
