Most of you have probably noticed that I have not written or drawn a new Nerd Club comic in quite some time. Well, to be honest, I ran into a bit of a snag. Mostly involving the sudden jump from 6 main characters to about 15. That's WAY too many for me to handle, but I also can't bring myself to cut my friends out of the comic. So, I came up to this decision:
The comic will NOT continue the way it is. Instead, I'm going to completely start over with 6 important characters and a few minor ones. Also, the characters will no longer be completely based off of real people. It was a fun idea at first, but once again, too many people to put in the comics. The characters will instead be more composite, sharing personalities and quirks from real people.
Here's where the proposition comes in. I've already started to write a few comics, and I went to draw the first one. This is where I ran into a problem: I don't think that I'm artistically talented enough to make a web-comic of quality. Therefore, I would like to open the door to work with anyone who IS. So far, the idea would be to post a comic once a week (hopefully on a specific day of the week). If anyone is interested, please let me know! Of course, I can't pay anything now (I is poor), but if this comic starts to make money, it will be split 50-50.
I've been serious about trying to make a comic for years, but I really want to make it work. So... how about it?
